Essential Requirements for Pet Boarding & Grooming

If you wish to board your pet at San Juan Animal Hospital, he or she must meet a few requirements.

For boarding & grooming services, dogs must be current on:

  • Rabies
  • DA2PP
  • Bordetella/Parainfluenza
  • Intestinal Parasite Analysis

Cats must be current on:

  • FVRCP
  • Rabies
  • Intestinal Parasite Analysis.

Official documentation is required for all pets.

What to Expect During Your Pet's Stay in Jacksonville

At San Juan Animal Hospital, we recognize how difficult it can be to say goodbye to your pet and leave them in someone else’s care while you are away. Our team strives to ensure that every pet enjoys their stay at our Jacksonville pet boarding facility.

If your pet takes medications, bring them and we will administer them based on your schedule – just note that fees may apply. We feed boarded pets Purina EN, but if your pet is on a specific diet, feel free to bring it and we will feed based on your instructions!

When you drop your pet off, we will review some information with you, such as:

  • Your pet’s diet/feeding amounts/frequency
  • Medications (including heartworm preventative/flea meds)
  • Emergency contact(s)

We encourage you to discuss any questions or concerns – our staff would be happy to address them. Our priority is keeping your pet safe so that you can enjoy your trip.
